Sevelamer Carbonate

Sevelamer carbonate (SEVAGEN ) is indicated
for the control of serum phosphorus in
patient with chronic kidney disease (CKD) on
dialysis. It is also indicated for the control of
hyperphosphatemia in adult patients
It is also approved for adult CKD patients not
on dialysis with serum phosphorus > 1.78
mmol/L (5.5 mg/dL).
receiving hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis.
